Totes is an American umbrella brand. Founded in 1924 in Oakley, Ohio, Totes produced the first lightweight, portable "Totes" rubber boots, which eventually became the company's best-selling product. In 1961 BradleyPhilips bought the company and renamed it "Totes". Totes covered the US market with the first design patent folding umbrella, and its classic basic folding umbrella quickly became popular in the US. Totes acquired French brand Isotoner in 1996. In 1910, Isotoner became famous for Aris glove company's exquisite leather gloves made in Europe and the United States. Aris's comfortable, innovative and personal experience made the brand famous. With initial success, Aris changed the company's name to Aris ISOTONER.
